Football is back

8:00
Canton, Ohio
Where legends never die.

This was a year for the Buffalo franchise at Canton. One of the greatest pass rushers of all time, Bruce Smith and Ralph Wilson, who has a stadium named after him, were inducted into the Hall along with Derrick Thomas, Bob Hayes, Randall McDaniel, and the great Rod Woodson.

Rod, inducted as a Steeler, thanked Steelers fans for cheering for him when he wore the black and gold. He also thanked Steelers Nation for booing him when he was a Raider and a Raven, because he would have lost respect for Steelers fans if they hadn't. What a human being.

NFL.com has some sweet videos.

The Hall of Fame Game marks the first of the AFL "Legacy Games" this season where the original 8 AFL franchises will don some of their old-time threads. Around here, we are quite excited to see the ol' oil derrick on the side of the helmets again.

Question of the day: will this be the closest TO ever gets to the Hall of Fame?
