Tu Pasion - NFL Contest for the Latino/a Community

We got an e-mail a week or so ago from someone working in Marketing for the NFL's Tu Pasion outreach program.

Here's the basics of the contest. This isn't something we're doing, it's something the NFL is doing. We're still kinda in shock that they reached out to us. Pretty awesome if you ask us.

Details:
-Submit a picture of video of you, your family, your friends, etc celebrating anything about the NFL. It can be you all decked out in Steelers garb harassing your friends in Browns attire. Or maybe just you holding up 6 fingers to show off that we've got more than everyone else. It can be anything! Just show your spirit and love of football.

Also, pass this on to any Latino/a friends you might have, because if they get lucky and win the grand prize, maybe they'll share it with you!

The contest ends on November 22, so make sure you get your entries in by then!

The panel of judges will vote on entries based on creativity, passion, energy level, and general image of the submission (okay, so maybe mocking Browns fans isn't the best suggestion).

And now, what you're really interested in: PRIZES!

The Top 5 finalists will receive a $500 gift card for the NFL's online store. $500 will take care of buying Polamalu jerseys for your whole family for Christmas. Solid.

First place is even sweeter. The winner of the Tu Pasion contest will receive an all-expense paid trip to the 2010 Pro Bowl in Miami. Yes, I know it's not in Hawaii this year, but if you're from the Pittsburgh area, who wouldn't want to spend a weekend in South Florida in early February?

Of course, we're well aware that Steelers nation spans the whole world. And obviously there are Steelers fans from Latino/a communities. Make the rest of Steeler Nation proud! Enter the contest and bring home another victory for the black and gold!

This contest is part of the outreach program by NFLatino.com make sure to check them out for contest updates and other great information!
