NFL Week 6 Preview

This week's slate of games covers just about every spectrum from downright awful to a matchup of undefeated teams.

Game of the Week: New York Giants vs. New Orleans
Two undefeated teams going head to head. The Giants have been outstanding on defense this year. New Orleans' offense has struggled the last few games. Even though the Saints are typically renowned for their offense, their defense is greatly improved this year. These are two solid teams that should make for an entertaining matchup.

Most Intriguing Game of the Week: Baltimore vs. Minnesota
Brett Favre's first test against a legitimate defense. Baltimore is on a 2-game losing streak. In the tough AFC North, they don't want to make it 3. Minnesota is undefeated and are at home. Baltimore gave up their first 100-yard rusher in forever last week to Cedric Benson. Cedric Benson? What is Adrian Peterson going to do to them? Joe Flacco has shown steady improvement this season, but the Ravens passing game has seen some injuries to their wide receivers, which has hurt Flacco's production the last few weeks.

Worst Game of the Week: Carolina vs. Tampa Bay
Washington-Kansas City got some consideration. However the Redskins actually have 2 wins this year. Carolina and Tampa are a combined 1-8. Carolina will probably run all over the inept Bucs.

Upset Special: Houston over Cincinnati
Cincinnati has done a good job this year staying in games and winning them late. While Houston might have one of the worst defenses in the AFC (besides Cleveland), their offense can put up a crapload of points. Cincy's offense has been more run-oriented and is 21st in the league in scoring. If this game turns into a shootout, can Cincy keep up?
