This just in:
Ben Roethlisberger is leading the league in passing yards.
Ben led the league in passing this week, but you'll never hear that after all the hooplah Brady, Brees, and Schaub are getting. Granted, it was against the Browns. But 417 yards is still impressive. Ben is also second in the league in completion percentage at 72.5%, just behind Peyton Manning's 73.5%. Manning does Sony commercials in his spare time. Ben appears on Monday Night RAW.
The other, possibly more impressive fact is that Hines Ward leads the league in receiving yards.
Yes, you read that correctly. Not Larry Fitzgerlad. Not Andre Johnson.
Hines not only has the most receiving yards in the league (599), he also has the most receptions (41) and the most yards per game (99.8).
In other news, Tennesse looked about as clueless as the Solomon family yesterday.
What a show.
It was also a bad week for defensive linemen.
Lofa Tatupu, Antwan Odom, and Kris Jenkins all went down with injuries.
Done for the season.
