Gameday 5: Detroit Lions

Over the summer, in a low-profile free-agent move designed to free up some salary around here, we shipped off JD, our medical consultant to the Detroit Lions. The Lions offered him a fabulous salary of appletinis, and being as they were from the hometown of Dr. Cox's favorite sports team, JD obliged.

The Steelers come into this game riding high off their win over San Diego. They have a chance to move back into the playoff picture with wins the next two weeks over Detroit and Cleveland. This is where they can separate themselves from the 06 disappointment.

Steelers-Lions History
All Time: Lions 17-15-1
In Detroit: Lions 13-4
Last 5: Steelers 4-1
Mike Tomlin: n/a
Current Streaks: Overall - Steelers 2, In Detroit - Lions 1

What you did know about Detroit: The last time a Pittsburgh team was there, this happened.

What you didn't know about Detroit: It's so Cold in the D (thanks to the Pensblog)

Where We'll Be
John will be partying like it's 1693 in Lancaster.

Ian will be watching the game in HD at his parents house.

Yeah, nothing exciting from us this weekend. It's midterms week.

Of course, since we're visiting our old buddy JD in Detroit, there's only one person to come along for the ride:

GO STEELERS!!
