Here's your Week 2 preview:
Best Game: New Orleans at Washington - One has to believe Washington will turn in a much better performance than they did against the Giants. This is the first of three straight against high-powered offenses (Arizona and Dallas to follow), but the defense wasn't the problem after the first quarter last week. Still, they will be tested. New Orleans is coming off a great opening-week win over T.B., but Washington's offense should provide more of a challenge against a still unproven defense.
Most Intriguing Game: New England at N.Y. Jets - The first game for the Patriots without Tom Brady comes against the team's biggest threat to division supremacy. The Brett Favre led Jets will look to initiate their strangle hold on the division against what one has to assume will be a much weaker Patriots offense.
Upset of the Week: Detroit over Green Bay - This is a risky pick, but I still have faith in the Lions. It's their home opener, and the Packers were far from invincible against the Vikings last week. Look for Aaron Rodgers to struggle in his first road start of his career.
Best Performance: Chris Johnson - Johnson's impressive debut against Jacksonville opened some eyes. An even bigger day against one of the worst defenses in the league in Cincinnati will have people officially believing in him.
Stay Away From: Michael Turner - The Falcons will lean on the running game all year, but at least for next week, their opponent will be extra prepared. After his impressive debut with Atlanta, look for T.B. to be geared toward stopping the run and forcing Matt Ryan to beat them. Also (obviously), the Bucs' D is much more superior than the Lions.
