Divisional Rankings

We've been calling the NFC East the best division in football all year. But with the Redskins loss to St. Louis and Dallas' loss to Arizona, maybe that's not quite true. In a new feature, here's the divisional rankings after Week 6, based on overall records.

  1. NFC East 15-8 (.652)
  2. NFC South 15-9 (.625)
  3. AFC East 12-8 (.600)
  4. AFC South 12-9 (.571)
  5. AFC West 9-13 (.409)
  6. NFC North 9-14 (.391)
  7. AFC North 8-13 (.381)
  8. NFC West 8-14 (.364)
So for now, the NFC East holds the crown of best division in football. The AFC North escaped the bottom spot with the Browns win over the Giants on Monday night.
