Tuesday Top Five: The Office Pranks

Since it's the offseason and there isn't a whole lot to talk about on the football front (and the Olympics are still a month or so away), we decided to go a little off the beaten path here and offer up a "Top 5" on a random subject every Tuesday. We love "Top 10" or "Top 5" lists just as much as anyone, and obviously the point is more to spark discussion rather than to set anything in stone. We'll kick off today by honoring one of the great pranksters of modern television - Jim Halpert.

Yes, we know the Office has gone downhill a bit over the last few seasons, but that doesn't mean we can't still remember that time when it was one of the best shows on tv.

Top 5 Pranks on The Office

5. Dwight's Items in the Vending Machine

This prank was made twice as good because Jim gave Dwight the stash of nickels that he had used in an earlier prank (the Nickels in the Handset prank) to buy his own stuff back.

4. ID Badge

"I am not a security threat and my middle name is Kurt, not Fart"

3. Pavlov Mints

This one speaks for itself.

2. Jim as Dwight

This prank was so awesome, it has it's own shirt (which I own thanks to my awesome wife)

Bears. Beets. Battlestar Gallactica.

1. Faxes From Future Dwight

How this one isn't on YouTube, I don't know. So you have to watch an ad before the clip. But it's worth it.

Cordially, Future Dwight.
